    The Jamaat al Muslimeen coup attempt was an attempt to overthrow the government of Trinidad and Tobago, instigated on Friday, 27 July Over the course of six days, Jamaat al Muslimeen, a radical Islamic group, held hostages (including Prime Minister A.
